SÃO PAULO (Reuters) - A Petrobras (SA:PETR4) questionou na noite de terça-feira o pedido realizado pelos fundos de pensão dos funcionários da petroleira e do Banco do Brasil (SA:BBAS3) para instauração de arbitragem na bolsa paulista B3 (SA:BVMF3), na busca por reparação por perdas com os papéis da estatal.

Em comunicado enviado na noite de terça-feira ao mercado, a Petrobras confirmou que foi notificada sobre o pedido da Petros e da Previ e da intenção do fundo de pensão dos funcionários da Caixa Econômica Federal (Funcef) de participar da arbitragem instaurada por pessoas físicas e um reduzido grupo de pessoas jurídicas.

"A Petrobras reitera que a legislação não respalda essa iniciativa e se defenderá para garantir seus interesses e de seus acionistas", disse a estatal. "Nenhuma dessas medidas quantifica o valor da disputa."

A arbitragem busca reparações a investidores que tinham papéis da Petrobras entre janeiro de 2010 e julho de 2015, período em que eles alegam que a companhia teria divulgado informações falsas aos acionistas, em meio ao escândalo de corrupção investigado na Operação Lava Jato.

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Petrobras (SA:PETR4) questioned on Tuesday evening the request made by the pension funds of the employees of the oil company and Banco do Brasil (SA:BBAS3) to the arbitration institution in the São Paulo Stock Exchange B3 (SA:BVMF3), in the search for reparation for losses with state-owned securities.

In a statement sent to the market on Tuesday, Petrobras confirmed that it had been notified of Petros' request and the Prevention of Intention of the Employee Pension Fund of the Federal Savings Bank (Function) of participation of the arbitration filed by individuals and a small group of legal entities.

"Petrobras reiterates that the legislation does not support this initiative and is a defender to guarantee its interests and shareholders," the state-owned company said. "There are no measures quantifying the value of the dispute".

The arbitration seeks redress for investors holding shares of Petrobras between January 2010 and July 2015, a period in which they claim that it is a company of false information disclosed to shareholders amid the corruption scandal investigated in Operation Lava Jato.
